Ford to expand Indian operations
March 20, 2008: Ford Motor Company (FMC) will invest an additional $500 million over the next two years to expand its Indian operations for manufacturing small car and components for domestic and overseas markets.
The investment will be used to expand the installed capacity of 250,000 units to 100,000 units per annum.
