Procall chalks out major investment in digital PTT
May 12, 2008: Procall, a wireless-communication solutions provider, is investing Rs.600 crore to roll out its next-generation digital wireless solution featuring Motorola's iDEN technology in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai.
Procall is the brand name for digital trunked radio service from Essel group subsidiary Agrani Telecommunicaion Ltd. At present, Procall is the only company licensed to offer Motorola's iDEN technology in India and the only company to have acquired the digital public mobile radio trunking (PMRTS) license for the circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Maharashtra & Goa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
