RITES signs contract for hospital trains
April 15, 2008: Railways' multi-disciplinary public sector enterprise RITES Limited has signed a contract with the Democratic Republic of Congo for the supply of two Hospital Trains. This contract covers design, development, manufacture, supply and commissioning of these trains in Congo.
These trains will have major medical facilities including operation theatre, radiology testing, diagnostic facilities for medicine, ENT, eye, dentistry, orthopaedic, gynaecology, recovery room and intensive care unit.
