GramIT to add 10 more centres

May 17, 2008: GramIT, the rural business process outsourcing service arm of the Byrraju Foundation, is in the process of establishing 10 more centres and possibly adding around 2,000 more people from villages in Andhra Pradesh.

This BPO now provides services to some 10 corporates including three Tata Group companies and Andhra Pradesh Government, employing more than 500 people.

GramIT also serves some of the human resource related functions for Satyam Computer, which employs around 53,000 people. Having established processes, the company now looks at expanding and serving more companies
