Tenders invited for Ankleshwar-Rajpipla line gauge conversion

August 14, 2008: Tenders for Ankleshwar-Rajpipla line gauge conversion have been invited for undertaking works on the Rs.196.97 crore project, railway official sources said.

The gauge conversion project will connect the stations on Ankleshwar-Jhagadia-Rajpipla to the mainstream of the national rail network. The princely state of Rajpipla is situated on the foot of the Satpura range hills, between Narmada river and the Tapti river.
