Thermax plans major expansion
12 May, 2008: Thermax India plans to invest over Rs.200 crore in the current fiscal for expansion.
The company has signed a Rs.500 crore contract to supply electrostatic power plants to US-based Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group. The contract grants the company the right to manufacture and sell utility boilers of up to 800 MW to generate steam in thermal power plants.
