Visu group venture into Africa with its housing project
May 16, 2008: Visu Group of Companies, floated a company called Indo African Infra Developers and Builders Private Ltd to take up exclusive housing projects in African countries.
As part of this, the company is constructing one million low-income apartments with an investment of in Accra, one of the ten administrative regions in Ghana. The project would come up on about 5,000 acres given to the company free of cost by the government. The company plans to construct luxury houses and villas in Arcaa on about 1,000 acres at an investment of Rs 5,000 crore.
The project in Accra will start within 6-9 months.
