Maharashtra: New projects worth Rs 107,143 cr announced in 2014
Maharashtra is a leading projex(project expenditure) destination in India, with over 8,333 live projects worth Rs 933,090 crore. Project investment in the state has seen the steady growth over the last ten years, except for small drops in 2005 and 2011.
In 2014, 1,229 new projects worth Rs 107,143 crore were announcd in the state, from which over 40 per cent is private investment.
