According to the 24th Quarterly Survey of Projects Investment, conducted by
ProjectsToday, as of 30 September 2006, the state had 23 projects worth Rs.1,672
crore in various stages of planning and
implementation.
The difficult terrain and adverse weather conditions deter the private sector
to invest in the state. Hence, the entire projects investment is by the
government agencies.
