The focus of the company is to become a total service provider to the Power Generation Sector with engineering, procurement, construction, project management and O&M services. GEMAC Energy consists of a team of professionals lead by Mr. K. Thiruppathi, who is the Chairman. He has over 45 years of work experience. His previous roles being, President of Sterlite Industries, MD of TPL & SPIC. Mr. Kishore Arcot who leads the team has over 25 years of experience in EPC, commissioning, operation & maintenance of Power Plant which includes 11 years in NTPC. The team also has Mr.A.K. Pathanjali, former ED of Hofincons with over 35 years of experience in O&M services of Ferrous, Non-Ferrous industries including Fertilizer plants. Mr. Santhanam, former Senior Vice–President of Reliance Industries Ltd and Mr. Srinivasan, former ED of Power Division, NLC. It provides a complete solution for the Energy Sector through its divisions listed below: EPC Division: The EPC division of GEL concerns with Engineering, Procurement and Construction of power projects. Thermal Division: The thermal division of GEL concerns with construction of coal based power projects of its own to overcome the demand of power. GEL has proposed to setup a coal based power plant of capacity 1320 MW (2X660) at southern belt of Tamilnadu. The land acquisition for this project is at advanced stage and about 400 acres of land are acquired. Renewable Energy: GEMAC through its division GEMAC Green Power and Water carries out renewable power projects(Solar, Wind, Bio- Mass) and Water Treatment on EPC basis. The projects are done based on EPC contract and of its own. GEMAC Green provides variety of solutions like, Green field projects, re-powering, roof-top systems, off-grid and on-grid systems for solar, Solar-wind hybrid systems, bio-mass systems. O&M Services : GEMAC Engineering Services concerns with providing complete O&M solutions for Ferrous, Non Ferrous, Power and other process and Engineering Industries. GEMAC through its partner TGG in China, brings highly reliable solution for Operation and Maintenance of power plants.and they provide simulator based training for power plant operators Services include turnkey projects with land acquisition, obtaining clearance, project funding from financial institutions through its group company GEMAC Capital Advisors Limited, engineering, procurement and construction with project management services. GEMAC Energy also provides BTG engineering, procurement, construction and project management services on a consultation basis. |
