The city slum rehabilitation project at Piinpri-Chinchwad in Pune, under JNNURM,
is targeted for completion by September 2010, ProjectsToday reports.
Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation officials indicated that work on the Rs
592 crore project had already begun in February this year. PCMC has finalised
B.C. Shirke, IVRCL, Indu Projects and Pratibha Constructions as contractors for
the project for which the notice inviting RIO was invited in December 2006.
