Sophia Power's EPC bids for Amravati project in process
ProjectsToday: Sophia Power, an Indiabulls Group promoted company, is currently processing EPC bids and finalising coal linkages for phase-I of the 1,320 mw (2x660 mw) thermal power project at Nandgaonpet village in Amravati district of Maharashtra. Phase-I forms part of the 2,460-mw Amravati thermal power project to be implemented in two phases over 1,350 acres of land. Sepco, China, has evinced interest in the bids invited on May 20 this year. The company expects to finalise the contractor by the end of this month. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply and commissioning.
