Turnkey bid sought for Wardha Power Plant

ProjectsToday: Wardha Power Company Pvt. Ltd. a subsidiary of KSK Energy ventures of Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh, plans to set up a 3,600-mw coal-based power plant in Chhattisgarh on turnkey basis. The company invited bids for design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and performance guarantee tests for the project.

WPCPL is also setting up a 540-mw coal-based power unit at Warora in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The project will be implemented in two phases, each 270mw i.e. 2x 135 mw. The power plant on Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation land and (oat for the project is being sourced from Morga coal block in Chhattisgarh.
