Work on Arihant township to commence by April

WORK on Arihant Indo African Intra’s proposed integrated township, Star Hills, at Vijayawada in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh is expected to commence by April. AIAI is a joint venture between Indo African Industries and Chennai based Arthant Foundations & Housing Ltd. Land for the project has been acquired and the company is awaiting the approval of Hyderabad Urban development Authority. The company plans to set up the township on 53 acres at an estimated cost of Rs 1,000 crore. The project, to be implemented in two phases, is likely to comprise 129 towers of 12-15 floors with 3 apartments, office space, mall and three—screen multiplex. The company has appointed Singapore’s Architects Team 3 Pte. Ltd and Natraj & Venkat, Chennai, as architects for the project, while Shapoorji Pollonji & Co. Ltd, Mumbai, is consultant and contractor for the township.
