Work on industrial hub to begin by year-end

The West Bengal Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation is setting up an integrated industrial hub at Fatapukur in Jalpaiguri district; construction work will commence by December. Srishti Infrastructure Development Corporation is contractor. WBIIDC will form a JV after receiving government approvals. The hub to spread over 125 acre will be completed in 5 years time.

Sal Kripa Sugar complex to start soon

Sai Kripa Sugir Mills 5000 tccpd sugar complex at Srigonda at Ahmednagar in Maharashtra is likely to commence work by December. It will include a35 mw co-generation unit. Of the total project cost worth Rs 300 crore, around 60 per cent will be Funded through banks, and the rest through internal accruals. Financial closure is expected by October 2008, and the project is likely to be completed by October 2009. S.S. Engineers is machinery supplier.
