The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) still awaits environment clearance (EC) to develop a special economic zone (SEZ) in Telangana, as per the information shared with Projects Today research.
Being built over 250 acre of land, the proposed SEZ for aerospace and precision engineering will be located at Adibatla village, Ibrahimpatnam taluka in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana.
The scope of work will include engine overhauling, ancillary overhaul and repair, ancillary design and development, technical services, component overhaul and repair and aero-university.
The additional facilities to be provided include office complex, IT support companies, food courts, recreation facilities, first aid facility, car parking facilities, utilities, sewage treatment plant (STP), tot lots/open spaces, solid waste segregation point, D G sets (emergency supply--3x500 kVA), etc.
As per recent updates with Projects Today, land development work on the project was completed. The Rs 252.27 crore SEZ will be executed by an in-house team.
