1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Amazon opens world’s largest campus in Hyderabad

Amazon, US-based e-commerce company inaugurated its campus in Hyderabad, Telangana on 21 August 2019. This the company’s largest facility globally and will house 15,000 employees.

Moreover, this is the only Amazon-owned campus outside the US. The campus building contains over 2.5 times more steel than the Eiffel Tower, measured by weight, and has been developed over 9.5 acre of land parcel.

With 15,000 work points across 1.8 million sq ft in office space and built on three million sq ft of construction area, this is the company’s single largest building in the world in terms of total area.

The company has eight buildings in Hyderabad with four million sq ft of office space.

The campus at Hyderabad is also the largest technology base outside Seattle, the Amazon's headquarters.

The employees in Hyderabad include software development engineers, machine learning scientists, product managers, finance and many other function.

The foundation stone for the campus on 20 March 2016. An average of 2,000 workers were on the site every day for 39 months to construct the building, spending 18 million man-hours.

The facility has more than 300 trees dotting its grounds with three specimen trees aged over 200 years and has an 8,50,000 ltr water recycling plant.

The company has three fulfilment centres in Telangana offering more than 3.2 million cu ft of storage space to sellers, two sort centres with one lakh sq ft of processing capacity and 90 delivery stations.

The company has already announced USD five billion investments in India, and another USD 500 million in food and retail.
