1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Britannia Industries plans capex of Rs 700 cr over next two years

Britannia Industries is planning to make an investment of around Rs 700 crore over the next two years. 
 
The investment will be made across greenfield facilities and expand capacities at the existing ones in Ranjangaon, near Pune, in Maharashtra. The new ones will include one each in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Odisha. 
 
The new facilities will help the company augment capacities in some of its key markets. 
 
The factories will be owned by Britannia and funded by the company from internal funds. These will increase capacity by 10 percent. 
 
In a normal month, Britannia Industries production is around one lakh tonne a month and presently it has even gone up to 1.15 lakh tonne a month. Each of the factories will have two or three lines for biscuit making. The company has 16 factories and 30 contract packers. 
 
Tamil Nadu is one of the largest states for Britannia Industries and presently is catered mostly through contract manufacturing facilities. 
 
Bihar is another large consumption state for the biscuit-maker, where it is looking to expand presence. Apart from this, Uttar Pradesh has emerged the second-largest market for the company as it registered 42 percent Y-o-Y growth in Q1/FY21.
 
The company has registered a volume growth of over 21 percent Y-o-Y in Q1/FY21. The company’s revenues (consolidated total income) registered a near 27 percent Y-o-Y growth to Rs 3,514 crore in Q1/FY21, and 118 percent Y-o-Y growth in PAT to Rs 543 crore.
