Ceigall India has emerged as the H1 (highest) bidder in the financial bid opening held on 13 November, 2025 for a tender issued by the Government of Punjab’s Water Resources Department (WRD).
The contract involves de-silting work and clearing the choked creek bed of the Siswan River outfall in the Satluj River basin. The project will address sedimentation/agradation issues from RD 1680 to 2670 and RD 3000 to 4410 mtrs. The work is crucial ahead of the 2025 monsoon season, with the goal of disposing of surplus material. It is a royalty-based contract and has a completion deadline of 120 days from the date of the agreement.
Ceigall India will execute the project as a domestic entity, contributing to the ongoing efforts in maintaining and improving water resources in the region.
