Direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brand Zouk has raised three million USD in a funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners. The company had earlier raised a 1.5 million USD and is focusing on ‘capital-efficient’ business growth.
Zouk which operates in the bags, wallets and footwear categories, plans to invest the funds to open five brand outlets in 2023, and strengthen its supply chain, apart from engaging in brand-building initiatives. It has a presence across more than 50 retail touchpoints.
The company is working to enhance its product collection in bags and footwear segments to offer a wider collection of 'Proudly Indian' products. Its recent launches include backpacks, baguettes and clutches.
Zouk is known for making PETA-approved bags and other products, which are made using ‘vegan leather’.
