Danfoss Power Solutions has commenced construction of a new manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune, with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore. The company conducted a groundbreaking ceremony on 04 February, 2025.
The company, which already operates plants in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and Pune, will use the 44-acre site to boost production of pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves, while introducing new product lines. This expansion will double its manufacturing footprint in India, fostering innovation and sustainability.
Slated for completion in late 2026, the facility will cater to both domestic and global requirements. Additionally, an Application Development Centre (ADC) for machinery research and development would be established at the Talegaon unit. The new factory will drive sustainability initiatives, contributing to Danfoss' commitment to decarbonising global operations by 2030
"Our new state-of-the-art facility in Pune will enable us to better support local customers by enhancing our production capabilities and delivering sustainable solutions," Danfoss Power Solutions President Daniel Winter said.
