Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao inaugurated the first level flyover at Biodiversity junction at Gachibowli in Telangana, constructed as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) of GHMC on 21 May 2020.
The 690 mtr long and 11.50 wide three-lane unidirectional flyover will ease traffic congestion.
A total of six works are part of the 12 km corridor between JNTU and Biodiversity junction in the package, with an estimated expenditure of Rs 379 crore.
Its construction commenced over three years ago, with an estimated cost of Rs 30.26 crore.
It will ease traffic congestion on Old Bombay Highway from Gachibowli towards Raidurg and up to Mehdipatnam.
