GMR Kamalanga Energy invites bids for constructing a road for the proposed coal-based power project at Kamalanga in Dhenkanal district of Orissa.
Bids have been invited for the construction of two nos of canal over road bridges (COB) and one no. of rail over bridge interconnected with retaining earth wall (RE wall) as part of the main approach road to the power plant.
The company has proposed to set up a 4 x 350 MW coal-based power plant at Kamalanga village with an investment of Rs 4,450 crore. The project will be implemented in two phases. Phase-I will be of 1,050 MW (3 x 350 MW) and Phase-II will be of 350 MW (1 x 350 MW).
