HFCL has bagged an order worth Rs 282.61 crore from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) for commissioning of telecommunication systems for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-I.

The scope of work comprises the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication systems.

The work must be executed in 23 months from the date of contract. Thereafter, HFCL is expected to provide warranty support for 28 weeks.
