1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Hiranandani to set up Rs 1,000 cr data centre in Panvel

Hiranandani, Mumbai-based real estate developer, will set up first data centre park at Hiranandani Fortune City township in Panvel. It will be the country’s largest data centr building. The company will make an investment to the tune of Rs 1,000 crore to setup the data centre. The cost of land and construction is about Rs 400 crore.

Overall Rs 1,400 crore investment will be made towards per building and it is looking to setup 11 such centres in Mumbai and Chennai.

The data centre parks will be spread over 50 acre of land parcel near major international fiber landing stations with server hall capacity of over 60,000 racks and 500 MW power. The first data centre park which will come up in Panvel is scheduled to go live by December 2019.

It will also be setting up a 60 MW solar power plant in Maharashtra that will be able to start generating at least 30 MW power by early 2020.

The company has launched a new data centre called Yotta, a 100 percent subsidiary of the company. It will offer hyper-density, hyper-scalable data centre and co-location solutions to enterprises with supporting managed IT, hybrid multi cloud and security services.

The company is looking forward to invest around Rs 15,000 crore setting up data centres over next five to seven years.

The company has already constructed two large data centres in India for NTT Group’s Netmagic -- a data centre co-location company. The company will build more data centres for Netmagic and at the same time will construct 11 data centre buildings.
