The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation has floated a tender for establishing 2x150 MVA 220/66/11 kV substation at Nagarbhavi in Bengaluru.
The specifications comprise the running of 220 kV 1200 sq. mm copper single core XLPE UG cable LILO line from one of the existing circuit of 220 kV Peenya-Singarpet line for the route length of 2.475 km. The said UG cable passes via Nagarbhavi and Chandra layout. It also includes a 66 kV SC 1000 sq. mm UG cable from proposed 220/66/11 kV Nagarbhavi substation to the existing 66/11 kV Srigandhadakaval substation for a distance of 2.673 km, and 66 kV SC 1000 sq. mm UG cable from proposed 220/66/11kV Nagarbhavi substation to existing 66/11kV Chandra layout substation for 3.155 km.
The construction of a 66 kV terminal bay at existing 66/11 kV Chandra layout substation for termination of proposed 66 kV SC 100 sq. mm UG cable from 220/66/11 kV Nagarbhavi substation is also included.
The estimated cost of the contract is Rs 177.6 crore.
