L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) has received two significant orders for its Asset Management and AdVENT business verticals.
Larsen & Toubro Energy Hydrocarbon-Asset Management (LTEH-AM) has won its first O&M contract from Vedanta’s Cairn Oil & Gas division. This 5-year contract is for the integrated operation and maintenance of the upstream oil and gas processing facility at Raageshwari Gas Terminal, as well as the adjacent Gas Well Pads and South Satellite Fields in Rajasthan, India.
Additionally, Matheson Tri Gas, Inc. (Matheson), a division of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD), has placed an order for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a hydrogen generating unit (HGU) with the AdVENT business vertical.
The Numaligarh refinery in Assam gave Matheson's Global HYCO business group the order for this HGU on a "Build-Own-Operate (BOO)" basis for 20 years, with Topsoe, Denmark, serving as the unit's overall process licensor.
The Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project (NREP), which aims to expand the refinery's present capacity from 3 to 9 MMTPA, includes the HGU, which has a capacity of 95 KTPA (132 kNm3/hr). L&T will execute the project in EPC mode within the next 30 months.
