Three companies have been allocated land in Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida (IITGN) project for setting up their manufacturing plants.
The combined investment of these three companies is pegged at Rs 3,404 crore and likely to generate employment opportunities for 12,550 people.
Haier Appliances India, consumer electronics and home appliances company, has been allotted 5,00,572 sq mtr (123.7 acre) of land in the township for setting up manufacturing facilities. The company will make an investment of Rs 3,069 crore towards the facility. The project is expected to create direct employment for 3,950 people and multiple indirect employment.
Satkriti Infotainment, a sister concern of Fenda Audio India, has been allocated 39,602 sq mtr (9.8 acre) of land parcel. An investment of Rs 235 crore will be made towards setting up of consumer appliances manufacturing unit at IITGN. The unit is expected to create 2,000 direct and 5,000 indirect jobs.
Forme Trading has been allotted 14,232 sq mtr (3.5 acre) land parcel. The company plans to invest Rs 100 crore in its new mobile phone manufacturing unit which is likely to create 600 direct and 1,000 indirect employment opportunities.
Integrated Industrial Township at Greater Noida is the first smart industrial city being developed in Uttar Pradesh under Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor. The township is being developed through an SPV company DMIC Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida.
