S S Agro Industries, a Latur-based company is planning to set up an isolated soya protein unit in Additional Latur Industrial Area in Latur district of Maharashtra.

The proposed unit will spread over 4.50 acres of land parcel which is allotted by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

As per the latest update shared with Projects Today, the company is in the process of achieving financial closure for the project. The contractor and machinery suppliers are still being finalized.

Work on the project is expected to commence by Q1/FY24
