1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Over 65 percent work completed on terminal building of Veer Savarkar International Airport

More than 65 percent work on the new terminal building of Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair, has been completed.
The airport located in Andaman and Nicobar Islands currently handles 18 lakh passengers annually. Considering the increase in the passenger traffic, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has undertaken the work for construction of new Integrated Terminal Building at a cost of Rs 700 crore.
With a total built-up area of 40,837 sq mtr, the new terminal building will be capable to handle 1,200 passengers during peak hours and about 50 lakh passengers annually.
The new passenger terminal building will have three-levels comprising lower ground, upper ground and first floor. 
The lower ground floor will be utilised as remote arrival, departure and service area; the upper ground floor will have entry gate for departure passengers and exit gate for arrival passengers and the first floor as waiting lounge for international passengers.
The building is completely air conditioned and will be equipped with modern passenger’s facilities with 28 check-in counters, three passenger boarding bridges, five conveyor belts with in-line scan system and state-of-the-art firefighting and fire alarm system. 
The city side area of the airport will also be developed with adequate parking facilities for cars, taxis and buses along with landscaping. The design of the terminal is a shell shaped structure depicting sea and the islands.
The new terminal building with a span of 240 mtr having two 120 mtr columnless spans supported through periphery steel columns will facilitate columnsless large span arrival and departure hall. 
The entire terminal will also have 100 percent natural lighting through skylights provided at roof level. Also, curved shaped cable net glazing will be provided all around the terminal building.
The new terminal building of the airport is scheduled to be ready by the middle of 2021.
