Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL) has commissioned 15 wind power turbines of its wind power project in Khirvire, Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.
Each of the 15 wind power turbines has a capacity to generate 850 kV energy and is located in the village Khirvire / Kombhalane. The company is developing a power project with 47.6 MW capacity at a cost of Rs 300 crore.
The entire project will have a total of 56 turbine units and will have annual energy generation of 85.65 MU of electricity.
The project also comprises a 132 kV transmission line from Akole 132 kV grid substation to 2 x 50 MVA 33 / 132 kV wind farm pooling station connecting 33 kV line for interconnecting the grid.
The company is expecting to commission the entire project during the current financial year.
