Suzlon Group has received the Notice to Proceed (NTP) from CLP India for the wind-based power plant at Tejuva, in Rajasthan.
With this, Suzlon Group will supply 48 units of its robust S97-2.1 MW wind turbines featuring Doubly Fed Induction Generator technology, to the wind power plant. The project will have a capacity of 100.8 MW.
Upon completion, this project will increase the capacity of CLP India’s wind power to almost 1,000 MW.
CLP India is a wholly owned subsidiary of CLP Group, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Apart from the proposed plant in Rajasthan, the company owns and operates two power projects in India. The first is a 655 MW gas-fired power project at Bharuch, Gujarat, and the second is a 1,320 MW (2 x 660 MW) coal-fired power plant in Jhajjar, Haryana.
