1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

TS Interseats proposes manufacturing plant in Karnataka

TS Interseats India, a part of the Thailand based automotive seats manufacturer, TS Interseats Co (TSIS), is planning to set up a manufacturing unit in Karnataka.

The proposed plant slated to come up at Vemagal Industrial Area in Kolar district, will manufacture two-wheeler seats, motorcycle parts and accessories. The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) will allot 20 acre to TS Interseats at Vemagal. The company will invest Rs 177 crore on the new plant which will have a capacity of 1.4 million two-wheeler seats per annum. The company will supply two-wheeler seats and other accessories to Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI).

TS Interseat has already set up a JV company in Delhi and operates a manufacturing plant. It supplies two-wheeler seats and accessories to TVS Motors, Hero Motors, HMSI, Max Motors and Yamaha among others.
