Vardhman Special Steel has announced an investment of Rs 475 crore to establish a new manufacturing facility in Ludhiana, Punjab, focusing on steel forging and machining.
The company plans to expand its operations into automotive components by leveraging technical expertise from Aichi Steel Corporation. The new facility aims to improve quality consistency, supply reliability, and customer alignment, while meeting Japanese quality standards. This move is part of the company’s strategy to enhance its position in the automotive supply chain by offering value-added products and increasing involvement in key automotive components. Vardhman Special Steel believes the expansion will strengthen customer relationships and support long-term growth.
