Rishi Chemical Works is planning to construct active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing unit at Haridwar town in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand. The company expects to commence work on the project by April 2023.

The proposed unit will have a capacity of 200 tpm and will cover a land parcel measuring over 1.05 acres. The project will also generate employment opportunities for about 50 individuals.

The company will finance the project wholly through its internal accruals.

As per the update available with Projects Today, Rishi Chemical Works is awaiting environmental clearance for the project.

Further, the company is yet to finalise the contractor and machinery supplier.
