Hogar Controls sets up manufacturing facility, R&D centre in Telangana

The US-based home and building automation company, Hogar Controls, has set up a manufacturing unit and research and development (R&D) centre in Telangana. A cumulative investment of close to Rs 100 crore in the new facility will be the hub for Hogar Controls’ global expansion in the next two to three years.


Hogar Controls has set up its wholly-owned Indian subsidiary Hogar India, through which it will both manufacture and market its products in the growing Indian market for a home and building automation products.

The new 10,000 sq ft manufacturing and R&D unit is fully automated with electronic manufacturing equipment and an annual production capacity of more than 6,00,000 units.

All 11 products launched and available under Hogar Controls home automation series, Smart, Touch, Enviro and Security, will be manufactured at the facility, which will serve as a hub for Hogar Controls growth and expansion across India as well as Asia, US, Canada, South America, Europe and Australia markets over the next three years.
