Bakeri Group and Lumos Alternate have partnered to launch Sakar Realty Fund - I, a Rs 500-crore real estate investment platform targeting high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), family offices, and institutional investors.
With final approval from SEBI, the fund offers regulated access to institutional-grade investments in mid-market residential projects across Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Pune. The investment horizon for each project ranges from three to four years. Sakar Realty Fund-I aims to deliver superior returns by leveraging the Bakeri Group’s extensive experience, which includes delivering over 150 projects with a built-up area exceeding 42 million sq. ft. over six decades.
The platform would create a "win-win situation" for developers and investors through pre-structured deals. Investors benefit from a transparent governance framework, a well-defined return structure, and oversight by an independent asset management company and investment committee.
