Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reviewed 12 development projects worth Rs 11,735 crore, focusing on tourism, metro rail, and industrial infrastructure.

The review covered Rs 4,184 crore in tourism projects, including the holistic development of Ambaji, restoration of the Mahakali Mata Temple in Pavagadh, mangrove and creek projects along the coast, and the transformation of Mokarsagar in Porbandar into a tourism hub. The Dwarka Corridor, enhancement of Shivrajpur and Somnath beaches, and new tourist facilities at Kantharpur Mahakali Vad and Dharoi Dam were also assessed. In Vadnagar, five projects such as an aqua screen projection at Sharmistha Lake, a music museum dedicated to Tana-Riri, and beautification works were reviewed.

In the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), infrastructure and social projects worth Rs 7,551 crore were evaluated, including an international airport, expressway, rail link, and community facilities. A 516-hectare Green Wall project was also discussed. Updates on Phase 2 of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail (Motera to Mahatma Mandir) and the Surat Metro Rail Project were presented. The CM urged timely execution, regular field visits, and inter-departmental coordination to meet project goals aligned with the Viksit Gujarat vision.
