Zuperia Auto has entered the electric passenger three-wheeler segment, aiming for Rs 1,000 crore in revenue by 2030.
The company, which currently operates in the e-rickshaw and electric three-wheeler segments under the brands Lohia and Youdha, plans to expand into the electric two-wheeler segment within the next two years under a new brand name, Zuperia Auto.
The newly launched Youdha epod will compete with major players like Mahindra, Bajaj, and TVS in the electric three-wheeler L5 category. The company will also introduce a wide-body variant with a driver plus six-passenger capacity in the near future.
With an installed capacity of one lakh units per year at its Kashipur plant in Uttarakhand, the company targets 70-80 percent capacity utilisation to meet its 2030 goals.
