Shree Cement has received all the necessary clearances from the state government for its cement unit at Kodla & Benekanhalli village, Sedum taluka, in Gulbarga district of Karnataka.
Company sources revealed to ProjectsToday (PT), that Shree Cement received approval for setting up the unit with a capacity of 4 million tpa. The project will involve a clinker unit with a capacity of 2.4 million tpa, captive limestone mining with a capacity of 3.8 million tpa, and 44 MW captive power plant. The project, spread over 430 acre, is expected to commence civil work by December 2013.
