Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six, a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL), has operationalised an incremental 125 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat, further strengthening the company’s renewable energy portfolio.

“Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 1.40 p.m. on September 01, 2025 to operationalize the plant from 01 September 2025,” the company stated. This new addition comes just months after AGEL inaugurated 50 MW of solar-wind hybrid capacity at Khavda in August, increasing operational capacity to 15,865.5 MW.

In late June, an additional 1,011.5 MW of blended renewable projects at Khavda became operational, taking the cumulative renewable generation portfolio to 15,539.9 MW. With this latest project, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity now stands at 15,990.5 MW.

Khavda remains central to Adani Green’s growth strategy, forming a key part of the ambitious 30 GW Gujarat Hybrid Renewable Energy Park, which aims to become the world’s largest hybrid renewable energy facility. The site underscores AGEL’s focus on scaling hybrid and solar capacity in Gujarat.
