Computational intelligence company Altair has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Centre of Excellence in Advanced Automotive Research (CAAR) to foster innovation and collaboration within the automotive industry.
The agreement aims to develop cutting-edge solutions for advancing e-mobility, autonomous systems, and sustainable vehicles, with a focus on reducing product development timelines. The collaboration also seeks to ensure that India stays at the forefront of global automotive technology.
This MoU underscores Altair’s commitment to delivering technologies that enable automotive sustainability, efficiency, and progress and further, this collaboration aligns with Altair’s broader goal of enhancing technological capabilities in the automotive sector, as stated by Country Manager at Altair India, Vishwanath Rao.
The partnership also aims to enhance the development of Altair’s software tools, enabling rapid development of high-value automotive products. CAAR, founded under the guidance of IIT Madras, provides essential technologies, facilities, and policy advice to the automotive industry, accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge automotive technologies in real-world applications.
