Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has invited bids for an EPC package related to the coal handling and biomass handling plants, along with railway siding works, for the 1x800 MW supercritical expansion unit at DCRTPP, Yamuna Nagar in Haryana.
This contract involves a range of civil, mechanical, and electrical works, including the construction of pile foundations, other civil enabling works, structural steel fabrication and erection as key components. The scope also includes mechanical works such as power cycle and critical piping, as well as installation of electrostatic precipitators (ESP) and LP piping. The electrical and control and instrumentation (C&I) works are also part of the overall work, contributing to the functionality of the systems.
The deadline for submitting bids for this significant infrastructure development contract is 23 December, 2025. This expansion project will enhance the plant’s capacity and operational efficiency, supporting energy generation in Haryana.
