BRN Infrastructures has bagged a contract valued at Rs. 169.99 crore by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a major road project in Maharashtra.
The contract involves the capacity augmentation of the Pimpri Sado-Vadape stretch of NH-848, covering a distance from km. 460.900 to km. 537.000. The scope of work for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order includes the construction of a 25.140 km long slip/service road on both sides at various locations, alongside the construction of two flyovers, each 25 meters in length, at Borivali Junction (km. 528.550). Additionally, a large vehicle underpass (LVUP) of 15 mtrs. will be built at Sherekarpada (km. 528.800).
This expansion will significantly improve traffic flow and connectivity along the highway, contributing to enhanced infrastructure in the stat. The project is part of NHAI’s efforts to improve road safety and capacity.
