City Municipal Council, Udupi, has invited bids for consultancy services for waste-to-energy plant in the city of Karnataka.

Bids have been invited for providing consultancy for preparation of feasibility report followed by bid document and agreement for establishment of a 70 tonne per day waste-to-energy plant, adopting pyrolysis technology for scientific processing of municipal solid waste on DBFOT basis.

The scope of work will involve preparation of feasibility / viability report, value for money, environmental assessment, project design, the service level parameters, value of which payment is linked and other formats prescribed by IDD, GOK for the project. The onus of getting the clearance from State Level Single Window Agency for the project lies with the consultant. After getting the approval for the bid document and agreement documents from the competitive authority, the consultant will have to call for tenders, evaluation of tenderer, awarding of tender, implementation of the project.
