City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), the proponent for the Navi Mumbai International Airport project, will float requests for qualification (RfQs) for the construction of the airport by early next week of December 2013.
CIDCO has finalised the RfQs that will be sent to the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The Ministry has assured that it will approve the RfQs for the airport project soon.
As soon as CIDCO gets clearance, it will invite tenders for the same.
The first phase of the Rs 14,573 crore airport project, which was first put on paper 27 years ago, is now expected to be completed by December 2017.
