Engineers India (EIL) has bagged a consultancy services contract from Cairn Energy India Pty for front end engineering and design (FEED) for Mangala polymer project in Rajasthan.
The project envisages setting up of additional surface facilities for 15 existing well pads with associated pipelines and infrastructure facilities for development of a polymer flood at Mangala for enhanced crude oil recovery. The project is of strategic importance to EIL as polymer based enhanced oil recovery technology is being implemented in India for the first time.
