GK Energy has successfully installed 7,620 off-grid solar pumps in Maharashtra, accounting for approx. 17 percent of the 45,911 solar pumps installed under the Guinness World Record achieved by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL).

The installations were completed within a challenging 30-day period from October 27 to November 25, 2025, highlighting GK Energy's operational excellence and capability in large-scale execution. In addition to the installations, GK Energy served as the Strategic Advisor to MSEDCL, playing a vital role in the end-to-end execution of this record-breaking initiative. The company was involved in all stages of the project, from concept development and planning to stakeholder management.

These installations were carried out under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, a flagship program by the Maharashtra Government aimed at promoting solar-powered off-grid irrigation systems. “GK Energy’s role in this initiative was critical to achieving such a milestone,” the company stated.
