The Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has approved financial assistance of Rs 17,500 crore for the seven Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) industrial cities.
The financial assistance of Rs 17,500 crore has been sanctioned at an average of Rs 2,500 crore per city for development of the following seven DMIC industrial cities in the Phase I:

Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region, Uttar Pradesh

Manesar-Bawal Investment Region, Haryana

Khushkhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana Investment Region, Rajasthan

Pithampur-Dhar-Mhow Investment Region, Madhya Pradesh

Ahmedabad-Dholera Investment Region, Gujarat

Dighi Port Industrial Area, Maharashtra
|
State Government will provide land for the project. All the above cities envisage the development of townships of 25-50 sq km which are expected to be completed by December 2019.
Meanwhile, the Japanese Government has also promised financial support of US $ 4.5 billion (Rs 244.12 crore) in Phase I for the DMIC projects with Japanese participation.
