Horizon Industrial Parks, a Blackstone-backed entity, has quickly evolved as one of the largest industrial and logistics developers in South India, covering 60 million sq. ft. of space nationwide.
Of this, 24 million sq. ft. is concentrated in South India, where it dominates the region, outpacing competitors like IndoSpace and ESR. The company operates 17 parks across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana, totalling 940 acres of land. The portfolio caters to diverse sectors, from auto components to e- commerce, with tenants including major names like Yazaki India and Schneider Electric.
"The portfolio has been diversified deliberately to cater to both manufacturing-led demand and the needs of logistics operators," said Urvish Rambhia, CEO. Recent growth has been fuelled by expansion in Tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai, where Horizon has added seven sites in two years, including in-city logistics parks. The company’s model focuses on standardised design, quick construction, and efficient delivery across multiple cities.
